We invite you to join us Sunday morning for this Bible class. Each of our Bible classes involves an in-depth detailed study of God’s Word. These classes are mostly straight studies of a particular book of the Bible. We try to mix Old Testament and New Testament studies. Each lesson shows how God’s Word reinforces itself with supporting scripture from other parts of the Bible. We will always take the time to answer questions and where appropriate, engage in a lively and beneficial class discussion to help stimulate Bible thinking.
Sunday Morning Worship
This
is our main worship time with each other. You can expect public praying,
partaking in congregational singing, partaking in the Lord’s supper every week
(like we see being done by the Church in the Book of Acts), a specific time for
the giving of one’s means, and a sound Biblical lesson coming from the Word of
God. During the service, we give everybody the opportunity to fill out a prayer
request form. At the end of the service, these prayer requests are read aloud
and we pray publicly for those people and those requests. You can be as
specific or as vague as you want to be. The prayer requests are also put in the
bulletin for the following week. We should never underestimate the power of
prayer. It is our collective desire that you would gain in knowledge and feel
uplifted by this service..
Sunday Evening Worship
We also worship on Sunday evening, and we invite you to spend time with us
at this service. We will engage in fellowship with one another, public
prayer, sing songs of praise, and give people a second opportunity to partake
of the Lord’s supper. We will then have a lesson in the Word of God. This
service is in meant to be in addition to the normal morning service, and is not
a repeat service. Instead of a formal sermon, we have a Bible class that
is much more relaxed and informal, yet with all the detail and supporting
scripture for the given topic; usually a specific book of the Bible. Like the
other classes, we always welcome a lively beneficial discussion. At the end of
the service, we will give an opportunity for prayer requests to be voiced so we
can pray about them.
Wednesday Evening Bible Class
We
offer a mid-week Bible Study to help keep everybody energized and in the Word
of God. We understand that the daily pressures of life always take their toll
on us, and this is a perfect opportunity to study together, to fellowship
together, and to renew our commitment to Christ, his Church, and each other. As
with all the other classes, the Bible study is very detailed with supporting
scriptures. Many times we will compare Bible accounts of the same event so we
can establish a clearer overall picture in our minds. Discussion and questions
are always welcome, and we will strive to answer any question to the best of
our collective ability. At the end of the class, we will give an opportunity
for prayer requests to be voiced so we can pray about them.
